About the Role:
Trinity IT is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Analyst II to support our contract with the US Navy in evaluating operations, identifying issues, and recommending solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. This role plays a key part in data collection, problem analysis, and strategic planning efforts.
This position is contingent on contract award.
This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect, review, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support recommendations.

Identify and define the nature and extent of organizational or operational problems.

Assess performance indicators such as annual revenues, employment trends, cost performance, schedules, and expenditures.

Conduct interviews with government managers and employees; observe operations to gain insight into processes and organizational culture.

Develop practical, data-driven solutions to address identified problems.

Understand and consider the organization's structure, inter-agency relationships, and internal culture in all analyses and recommendations.

Prepare and solve mathematical or statistical models to support analysis.

Deliver written reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

Assist in the implementation of approved recommendations, as needed.
Required Qualifications:

Active SECRET clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.

7+ years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with or for government agencies.

Knowledge of organizational development methodologies.

Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
