About the Role:

Trinity IT is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Analyst II to support our contract with the US Navy in evaluating operations, identifying issues, and recommending solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. This role plays a key part in data collection, problem analysis, and strategic planning efforts.

This position is contingent on contract award.

This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, review, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support recommendations.
   

• Identify and define the nature and extent of organizational or operational problems.
   

• Assess performance indicators such as annual revenues, employment trends, cost performance, schedules, and expenditures.
   

• Conduct interviews with government managers and employees; observe operations to gain insight into processes and organizational culture.
   

• Develop practical, data-driven solutions to address identified problems.
   

• Understand and consider the organization's structure, inter-agency relationships, and internal culture in all analyses and recommendations.
   

• Prepare and solve mathematical or statistical models to support analysis.
   

• Deliver written reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
   

• Assist in the implementation of approved recommendations, as needed.
   

Required Qualifications:

• Active SECRET clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
   

• 7+ years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
   

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools a plus.
   

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with or for government agencies.
   

• Knowledge of organizational development methodologies.
   

• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
